Hi Dustin,

Nothing in mind for specific games at the moment, but will see how the plans develop. I've been a bit swamped by real work lately that's driven my attention for the last 6 months, so FMG's taken a backseat. Hope to pick this up again in the new year.

Kind regards,
-Dan

Hi, I like the overall notion of trying to capture the essence board and card games online. I noticed you listed the Nertz card game on one of your pages. Do you have anything special in mind for Nertz? If so, don't hesitate to ask us at playnertz.com for suggestions or help of any kind. Keep up the good Work!

Hi Terry,

Thanks for your comment. For me, BGG is a great resource and wealth of information, and rightly so. FMG is something different, more a utility for gamers, and something that BGG doesn't provide.

As my post says, this preview site is more a teaser until I've completed the development of the core engine and idea before I release the main concept out onto the web.

If you follow the blog postings I am slowly revealing more details about the main function of the site and screenshots over time.

I'm still hacking away at the core engine for now, but I've not seen anything like this for boardgamers yet, so appreciate your patience whilst I pull the rest of the site together.

I hope you'll check back on the RSS or blog feed regularly to see what's going on.

Thanks,
-Dan

[...] For those that have been following the progress of FastMovingGames and read the website development plan I posted a week ago, then you’ll know that building a site like this requires a significant amount of technical development and programming to achieve.
Hi Jeffrey,
I watched the video and looks like a great game - I can imagine this having great replayability. Hope to see the game getting out there and listed on the geek soon! Good luck with the launch. Dan.

Hi William,

Yes, you're right! Until we launch proper, the games list is really there to help the search engines understand that this site is about board games (and card games!) so may contain a few inaccuracies in the content as the list is mostly generated automatically from our main games database.

The blog, however, is more useful to a human reader, as this gives a few more insights as to actually what's it's all about (to a degree!) and what's happening behind the scenes.

Cheers,
-Dan
