Milestone Reached - Games Module Complete

Submit GameThis week sees another milestone crossed off the list - having pretty much completed the games module. Well, that’s not entirely true, as there’s a few dependencies on the core games engine before I can finalize some of the pages, but the main meat of the games pages are complete.

Carcassonne Board GameHow do you spell Carcassonne again? Is it one s and two n’s or two s’s and one n? Actually it’s two s’s and two n’s according to the Geek.

“So what?” I hear you ask - well, part of the final site builds on the current board games list to allow you to find a game. But what if you’re looking for Yinsh or Zooloretto - you don’t want to scroll through 4000+ board games before you get to the game you want to look at, so how about doing a search?

Visual Design and Web 2.0

Design, visual style, and fashion trends are more fickle in the online world than they are in the real world. Technology and online tastes seem to change so fast that if you’re not committed about doing something soon, then by the time you get around to it there’ll probably be enough fashion changes that you’ll need to restart parts of the design somewhere along the way.
